Day 23

Today we went to the mall. We went to a pharmacy and we tried all the perfumes and we had a very good time. Then we met with Gabby, Elisa and Valentina and we watched 'Dawn of the planets of the apes'. When the movie was starting a guy sat next to Elena and started asking her 'Which sit is this?'. Elena didn't understand anything because he was speaking very fast so Gabby answered him. After that he started asking Elena where was she from and he also saw her a photo and told her that the guy in the photo was him. Meanwhile, Gabby and Amaia were laughing all the time because it was very funny seeing Elena trying to understand the guy. Finally the film started and the guy and his two friends shut up, but the strange thing was that during the film they left without the popcorns. The movie was very good but we prefer the one we saw yesterday because in this one there is to much war and the old one is more quieter calmer. After the movie we had lunch at an Italian restaurant called 'Bella Italia'. The food was also great and we had a great time playing games with Gabby, Emily and Matthew in a phone. When we finished eating we went to a zone with a lot of machines. We played a few funny games with Gabby and Emily, who arrived after we saw the movie. We said goodbye to them and we went to a KFC because Amaia wanted to try it. We ate some chicken popcorns and then we left and went home.

Day 22

Today we went to Bath and it wasn't very good. It started raining very soon so we couldn't see anything and they gave us free time. Even though we had an umbrella and a coat we ended very wet. We had lunch at a Subway because it was the first place we saw. Then the rain stopped a little bit so we went out. We went to a market and then to a Costa because it started to rain again. The meeting time was at 3.20pm. A while later we went to the Roman Baths. They gave us an audio guide and we had a very good time changing the languages and laughing at them with Eva a friend form Salamanca. At the end we decided that the funniest language was the Japanese. At 5.00pm went home.We had dinner at a Japanese restaurant and we ate sushi for the first time which was good and we also tried Wasami, a green small ball very typical in Japan that we didn't like.. Then we saw 'Rise of the planet of the apes' in the TV because tomorrow we are meeting again with Valentina for watching the second film 'Dawn of the Planet of  the Apes'.

Day 21

Today we did a test at school and both of us get a 100% in it because it was very easy. In the afternoon we had the talent show at the Bristol Grammar School. Every class performed a song, we did Summer Cats, and finally the winner was the first class who did Let Her Go by Passenger. After this there were some individuals performances.  First, a French guy called Nicola played the guitar and after the QA6 did Romeo and Juliet theater. Both of them win some sweets because there was no more people. One hour later we had a Karaoke Party. At the beginning no one was singing but after some time some  italian girls wanted to sing but the karaoke was broken so they played some music with a mobile phone. The party wasn't very interesting but me met some spanish girls who were really nice and we had a great time with them. After the party all of us went to the city centre and we all had dinner together in the Mc'Donalds. Then, we said goodbye to some friends because they were living and we went home sleep.

Day 20

Today, after our lessons, we went to the Dawns to play spots. Elena didn't do anything because of her finger, just lay down in the grass and speak with some friends. Amaia played volley in Dom's team, which won. It was hilarious for Elena to watch them because Dom is such a funny person that every time they made one point he was shouting, jumping or even playing music. After the sports we went shopping to the center. At 7.30pm we had the roller disco. We walked a little bit to go to a sports center. In the beginning almost everyone was falling but soon people got used to it. Amaia hurt her finger and we thought it was broken but beside that the roller disco was great and very funny so we had a very good time. We came back home and had dinner.

Day 19

Today we had our nomal lessons until 12.50am. In the afternoon we went to visit the SS Great Britain but Amaia was only for twenty minutes there because she had an appointment with the dentist. She arrived early to the dentist, which it was near Inigo's old house, so she waited for ten minutes in the waiting room. While she was waiting she checked out in which class she is going to be next year 3A and talked with her friends. Finally the receptionist called her and she entered in a room where a woman was waiting for her. The dentist chair was very comfortable and they put her some special glasses to protect her eyes. They fix Amaia's brackets problems in about  ten minutes and after that she went in a walk with Inigo around the neighbourhood. They saw Inigo's first house in England and after they went to Sainsbury's to buy some food for dinner. They arrived home around 4.00pm and Elena arrived from the academy at 4.45pm. We made a barbacue with Inigo in the field and then we all had delicious dinner at home.

Day 18

Today was a special day for Elena, because she is now in a higher level. Level 7!!! At 10.20 she had an appointment with the doctor to check on her finger. They said that it was healing well and that she has to keep it straight and without moving it for three weeks. The appointment was very quickly so ten minutes later she was out of the hospital. Elena missed the first lesson but she was there for the second, which was more boring. In the afternoon we played a few games in teams. One was to build a tower out of newspaper and sellotape. The second game was to take pictures to something that started with the letters of alphabet, in order. The last game was to build an structure that could save an egg of breaking when we through it from a window that was two floors high. We didn't have evening so we went straight home. We had dinner at a libanese restaurant with Inigo because Eszter had a diner with her work mates.The libanese was very nice and we had some wraps and delicious juices.

Day 17

Today we had to run to catch the bus in the center because it was coming when we got off the other bus. After that funny event we had to wait in the academy, as always. We had our lessons but the classes were a little bit different.Elena's class had only 11 students and Amaia's class was mixed with two levels. In the afternoon we went see the suspension bridge. We had to walk a lot so it wasn't really worth it. We ended the activity at 4.00pm so we went home. We rested a long time until we had to go to the welcome party in the Grammar School. We had to wait a very long time because they didn't open the door and it was raining, but finally we entered at around 7.40pm. This time there wasn't music in the party but like there was a piano we started to play it. Playing the piano we met a spanish girl called Silvia and at the end of the party before leaving Elena taught a girl called Angie how to play a part of The Lord of the Ring. When the party ended we went walking to the city centre and while we where walking we saw our bus so we started to run as fast as we can and finally we  arrived at time and caught the bus. We arrived home at 10.00pm and we watched TV until we go to bed.

Day 16

Today we had more time to sleep so we that's what we did. We made pancakes for breakfast. They were very good. At 11.00am we went shopping with Gabby and Emily. We went to Primark and we spent more than an hour there. Then we had lunch at a very good restaurant. We had some hamburgers, which were delicious. Then we walked around a little bit more and we had milkshakes, which were also very good. At 4.00pm we finished shopping and we went home. At home we played Monopoly. Amaia started winning but at the end Inigo put houses in some streets and ruined Amaia and Elena. We were playing almost three hours and we had a very good time. We stopped playing when the final of the world Cup started. Amaia, Eszter and Elena wanted Germany to win but Inigo wanted Argentina to win. Finally, Germany won 1-0. So Amaia was very happy. After watching how Germany got their prices we are going to bed, because tomorrow we have class again.

Day 15

Today we went to London with the school. We had to wake up earlier because we had to be at the academy at 7.45am. The trip was three hours long so it was quite boring. When we arrived there we did a short tour to see the most important buildings in London. We saw the Parliament, the Big Ben, the prime minister's house and Buckingham Palace. We had seen them before so it wasn't very exiting but it was good anyway. When we finished the tour we went shopping in Oxford street. We had to walk a very long time so we were very tired. We had lunch in a Subway and we enjoyed it a lot.. We had a very good time shopping and Amaia bought a T-shirt. At 4.30pm we had to go back to the bus to return to Bristol. We got home at 8.30 pm and we had dinner.

Day 14

Today Elena's finger was worse so we decided to ask someone in the academy to take her to the hospital. First we went to the academy as always. We catch the bus on time and everything was right. When we arrived at the school we went to find someone to take Elena to the hospital. Amaia went to her class and had her daily lessons. She did a test and she got a 9.8 which is very good. Then she had her second lesson. While Amaia was doing all that funny stuff, Elena was in her way to the hospital with Liz (the director). They went to the emergency room and waited there until they were called. Then they gave Elena some Ibuprofeno and Paracetamol. Then she went to the X-Ray room and they told her she broke her one bone of her little finger. Then put something in her finger not to let her move it. At 12.00 she went back to the school and she ended the lesson with Loz. In the afternoon we went shopping to Cabot Circus. After that we went home and we stayed there until 7.00, when we went back to the academy, where we had a pancake party. They were very good. Then we went home and we watched Glee and The secret life of students, which is an amazing and very funny show about how some students live in university. We recommend it to Ane!!!!

Day 13

Today we didn't catch the bus of 8.15, so we had to wait a little bit longer than usual. When we finally arrived in the center we caught another bus to the academy. Although we hadn't catch the first bus on time we were in the school very early so we waited there with a few more students. At 9.30 we had our respective lessons and after the break, at 11.20 the second lesson. In the afternoon, we went to the Downs to play sports. We played football with some other girls. We played for more or less and hour and we had a very good time. Then we just passed the ball to each other. In one of those passes Elena tried to catch it with the hand because it came too high. Unfortunately, she hurt her finger and she had to put some ice on it. Then, in the afternoon it was a little bit blue but we didn't think it was a big deal. In the academy they told us to wait until tomorrow to see how it goes. In the evening we went bowling. It was very fun but Elena had to throw with the left hand. Amaia did very well, at the end she had 57 points. Elena ended with 34. At 9.30 we went back home and we are going to sleep because we are very tired.

Day 12

Today we went early to the academy but when we went to the bus stop a bus was already there and we almost lost it. Then we caught another bus to go to the academy. When we arrived, there was only one person there. We waited almost an hour until the lessons started. We had our daily lessons and then in the afternoon we went to the zoo. It's near the academy so we didn't have to walk too much. The zoo was really great. At first we saw the lions and we tried to take some pictures, some of them are good but in others you can see the glass. Then we went to see the lemurs which were very cute. We took a lot of pictures of them too. After that we went to the penguins' zone. They were also really beautiful. Then we saw some small animals such as butterflies and a few birds. We also went to see the reptiles. After more or less two hours we had seen all the zoo and taken lots of photos. At 5.00pm we went home but the buses were so late that we didn't arrive until almost 7.00pm. For dinner we had pasta made by Amaia and Inigo and then we watched the semifinal between Argentina and Holland.

Day 11

Today was not a normal day.
We woke up at 7.30am as usually and arrived to the academy like about an hour later. But it wasn't boring because there was more people there too. We entered to the academy and guess who is in level 7. AMAIA!!!!! We all went to our classes and spent there the three hours. The classes had change. Amaia's teachers are now Pete and Lisa and her classmates are Eavont, Iker, Zeno, Maxime, Marta, Claudia, Claudi, Leonardo, Celia, Lorenzo, Alessandra, Valentina and Roberto. Elena's teachers are still Dom and Loz but she's got new classmates Francesco, Angie, Paula and Sofia. After we had lunch we went to the Bristol Grammar School and there we painted some t-shirts there. We wanted to do some 'The fault in our stars' T-shirts, Star Wars or Harry Potter but we had to do some abstract because all the group had to have the same theme and that was what the group wanted. Our T-shirts weren't very good but there were some of them that were nice. When we finished doing the T-shirts we did some shopping and then we went home. For dinner we had some pizzas. Each one of us made one and then we gave points to each one. Amaia won the pizza competition. After dinner we saw the match between Germany and Brazil. Germany won 7-1 and it was a total humiliation for Brazil.

Day 10

Today came a lot of new people to the academy. We had class as always but maybe tomorrow they change them because of the new students. This afternoon we had 'treasure hunt' in a park near the academy. We were in a team with Claudia, Patricia, Elena, Beatriz and two other girls. We had a very good time playing the game. Unfortunately it started raining but that didn't stop us to continue answering the questions that will lead us to the final. We finished in the second place and we only got one answer wrong, so we've got the first price that were some chocolates. At 4.00 we went home. Then, at 7.30 we had to go to the academy again because there was a welcome party. Instead of being in the academy the party was in the Grammar School, which looked like Hogwarts as many people said. The party was much better than last week's because it was in a bigger room and they put better music. Then they gave us some pizzas and we ate them in one minute. When the party ended we went home. We arrived a bit late because we lost a bus.

Day 9

Today we slept more hours, until 10.30 more or less, because we didn't have to go to the academy. We went to mall to do some shopping with Inigo and Eszter. We bought a few presents and some things for a barbecue we were going to have later. The barbecue was at the house of some of Inigo's friends. At the barbacue there were 4 couples and all of them were pregnant. After the barbecue we went to Cabot circus to do more shopping. Unfortunately everything was closing because it was almost 5.00pm when we got there. Because of that we decided to go to the cinema. We wanted to see X-men but it was too late, so we watched Transformers. It was good but it was a little bit too long. The movie finished at 9.00pm so we went home quickly. At home we watched the football match between Netherlands and Costa Rica. The match was boring and we wanted Costa Rica to win but Netherlands won in the penalties.

'The Fault in Our Stars' movie review

'The fault in our stars' is a movie based in the book written by John Green. We both had read the book before seen it. The movie was amazing, we really liked it. It was very faithful to the book, they took care of every detail and we (like any other fan of the book) really appreciated it.

First of all, lets talk about the cast and director. The actors and actresses were selected very well. At first I had some doubts about Ansel Elgort as Augustus Waters because I wouldn't have chosen him. But since the movie started he turned out awesome for that role. Shailene Woodley (Hazel Grace) did a really good job, even better than in 'divergent'. Natt Wolff played a very nice Isaac, too. The director also did a very good job and made an amazing movie.

Like I said before, it's a really good adaptation of the book. All the sentences we wanted to appear, appeared. I think that happened because John Green (the author) was everyday on the set so he could control and see how everything was going.

The songs they've chosen are very good. They are perfect for each moment and they make you feel a lot of more emotions than you would with a bad election of songs.

The only thing I didn't like or that I would have changed was that some parts of the book were missing and I liked them a lot so I was a little pissed off because of that. But I didn't really care because I understand that they can't put the whole book in one movie.

I would totally recommend this movie and also the book specially if you are a teenager. The film will make you laugh , cry and feel like if you were on a roller coaster of emotions.

Day 8

Today was Saturday, but instead of sleeping until 10.00am as usually we woke up at 7.00am and get to school at 8.30am for a Cardiff trip. Before we arrived to Cardiff we stopped in a museum that shows how people lived in Cardiff many years ago. After being in the museum we went to Cardiff. We arrived there at 12.30am and we took a 1 hour tour around the city with Loz. At 1.00pm they gave us free time, so like we were very hungry we ate lunch in the Burger King. We finished eating and we visited the shops around the main street. We also visited a shopping center, but we didn't  buy anything. Then we tried to get in to Cardiff's Castle, but we didn't get in because the tickets were £10 for each one. At the end we went to the History and Science Museum of Cardiff (with free tickets) and had a round there. At 4.00pm we went again to the shopping center and Patricia bought a bag in Claires before leaving Cardiff at 4.30pm. We arrived to Bristol at 6.00pm and Inigo come to take us because the streets may be closed by the St' Paul's Carnival. We arrived home at around 6.45pm and watched the football match between Argentina-Belgium. For dinner we had pastry, which was very good.
